Maple Plank-Grilled Italian Stuffed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2008
these were pretty good. my husband loved them. the only change i made was i used a cedar plank because our store didn't have maple. also, the mixture was a little wet, so next time i will add the croutons, then slowly add the broth until i get a good consistency.

tonight i'm making this for the third time. love finding huge zucchini at the farmers market! made the recipe as is, and it's great.

Coconut Macaroon Brownies

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2004
the brownie part was more cakey- i like it fudgy. and i wish there was more brownie in relation to the coconut part. i added chocolate frosting, but it still needed more chocolate- my coworkers agreed.

Chicken Honey Nut Stir Fry

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2005
there wasn't really anything bad about this recipe, it just lacked some kind of flavor. it seemed fairly bland. if you can use this as a basic recipe and add some flavor to it, it would be better.

Fudge Brownies I

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
good texture. the only change i made is making them in a 9 inch square pan for 40 minutes because i like them thick.

Best Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
this frosting was pretty good. i would maybe use it again. it wasn't as stiff as others, so it was hard to decorate with, but i wasn't worried about these cupcakes looking great. i followed the directions- cooking and stirring the flour and milk until like a roux, and i also beat the butter and sugar for ten minutes. only had minor granular taste. i like that it isn't too sweet.

very good. doubled the batter and made into cupcakes for my husband's softball practice. they were very moist and the topping was great.

Crispy Orange Beef

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2005
this was great. wonderful flavors. i added a little carrot to add some extra veggies. next time i will probably pan fry the beef instead of deepfrying.

Dinah's Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2005
excellent. i agree with others to cut the amount of butter in half. also, the filling makes enough for twice the number of mushrooms listed.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2004
this recipe was great. the pork chops were really tender. my only suggestion is go easy on the salt because with the salt, bread crumbs, and cream soup it tasted kind of salty. next time i might use reduced-sodium cream soup. will definitely be making again.

Sugar Cookie Cutouts

Reviewed: May 17, 2010
i usually hate making cutout cookies, but these were great! they turned out thick, and evenly cooked, just like at a bakery. i brought these to a ballet recital, and people couldn't believe they weren't store bought.

Sugar Cookie Frosting

Reviewed: May 17, 2010
this frosting was great all around. i used it for piping my cookies as well as filling in between the piping. it dried nicely so that the cookies were stackable. i can't imagine a more perfect frosting.

Best Ever Caramel Apple Crisp

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2007
this recipe was great! the topping was super crispy and just a perfect texture throughout. the ONLY change i made is that i cut the caramel topping in half. i drizzled it over the top and baked it. followed recipe to a T except the amount of caramel. will make again and again.

Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 25, 2004
i added a layer of melted choc chips mixed with whipped cream on top of the crust to add more chocolate to the recipe. also once the caramel is refrigerated, it hardens, making it hard to slice. all around, pretty good. will make again.

it was ok. i did add the old bay that others recommended. it would have been bland otherwise.

Scott's Buffalo Wing Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2009
made it exactly as recipe states. certainly not hot, but definitely good. i was trying to keep it milder for the kids. might add more hot sauce next time. my 6yr old, 4 yr old, and 3 yr old loved them and wanted more.
