These were good. We used left over carne-asada instead of bacon. The parmesan-oil mix really gave the potatoes good flavor. We'll definitely make it again.

My brother & I (both meat-eaters) liked the soup. My daughter (the vegetarian) thought it was bland. We added a couple cloves of minced garlic to it. The soup smelled amazing while cooking. I thought it was good. I think a bit of hominy would have added some texture and I would like to try adding a bit of smoked turkey next time. And maybe some collared greens instead of spinach.

I tried this, but wasn't very pleased with it. I make something similar that calls for salt, parsley and less lemon. I love my version, but this one was a miss for my family.

This is the best frosting I've ever made. I've tried several other recipes from scratch and this was THE BEST! I'll definitely use it again.

We make this every holiday. A friend of my younger brother had a small wedding where their parents prepared most of the food. After spending holidays with us several times they requested that I make three pans of this for the wedding reception. (Later I found out they wanted two pans for the reception and one to take home to eat themselves. LOL!) I just came to the site hoping to find this already typed out. My daughter wants to make it and wanted me to email her the recipe. (Coming here is easier than typing it out!) This will always be a family fave for us. Sometimes we change it up by using different soups and different cheeses (once we added diced ham and swiss w/celery soup... it was great!), but we always come back to this version.

Just like mom's except mom uses crushed crackers on top instead of bread crumbs. I'm not a huge fan of either so I used french fried onions on top. Yum!

This was way too sweet. I should have followed the advice of another reviewer who cut back on the sugar. Not quite what I think of when I think of pound cake.

I halved this recipe for my mom and I for dinner. We loved it. She took half my leftovers home with her. I had never had warm coleslaw before. I was surprised at how delicious it was. I will definitely make this again.

These were OK. I didn't think they were anything to write home about. You know how sometimes you have a taste for something specific? This recipe was not it.

I love this egg salad recipe. The lemon gives it a tangy fresh flavor. I love it on a hearty whole grain bread with broccoli and clover sprouts. Thanks, Jen!

Yum! This recipe was great. I've never made broccoli soup before from scratch. This turned out fantastic! I made a triple batch because I had a large amount of broccoli given to me and didn't want to waste it. I gave some to my neighbors who also loved it.
