Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2013
Whoa! I was not expecting this dish to be as delicious as it was. It was really fast and just delicious. My fish kind of fell apart as I was flipping them over, maybe next time i'll let it broil a little longer. But other that than 1 tiny problem, this is a definitely a must.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2013
Words can not explain how delicious this dish was. My family raved about it as they were eating and asked for a fresh batch a few nights later. Next time I will double the sauce and maybe the recipe as a whole since it was that good. Yummy!!!

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2014
Don't know if I should be rating this recipe seeing as how I made 1 huge change. I was unable to find a bottle of mild buffalo sauce (if such a thing exists) so I added a bottle of Frank's Sweet Chilli sauce instead. I followed all of the other directions and this came out amazing. I served it on kaiser rolls with pickle chips, sweet potato fries and a garlic aioli sauce for dipping. The sauce went great with the sandwiches. My 8-year-old said this was the best meal ever and my 16-month-old gobbled it up. 5 Hours on low was enough time to cook the chicken and after I shredded it I returned it to the slow cooker for another 30 minutes to absorb all of the sauce that was swimming around in the pot. I will definitely make this again.

Corn Casserole I

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2013
I ate the whole thing! I followed the recipe pretty much as written, except I only used 1/2 a can of the green chilies and a 6.5 oz bag of corn bread mix. I also ended up cooking it for about 85 minutes to give it a nice color. I served it for dinner with chilli and my family loved it. I ended up eating the leftovers for lunch for the rest of the week. Sooo good.

Simply Traditional Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2013
Delicious. Just the right blend of spices. I used 2 jars traditional pasta sauce (I usually make my own but thought I'd try it this way) and mild Italian sausage. It came out amazingly. My family and I ate half for dinner last night and I stored the other half in the freezer to have for dinner another time to serve on a busy school night.

Garlic Butter Sauce II

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2013
This was just ok. Definitely lacked seasoning the way it was written. I ended up adding garlic salt after tossing it and really loaded up on the parm.

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2013
Delicious!!! Great way to get your taco fix without having plain old tacos. I followed the recipe as written except I seasoned the chicken with poultry season before hand. My 6-year-old daughter gave it 100 and then asked more as leftovers the following night. Will definitely make this again.

Honey Baked Chicken II

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2013
Ok, really sweet. I followed the recipe pretty much as listed above except that I seasoned the chicken with a little lawrys and let it sit for about 10 minutes before cooking it. My family said they loved it, but I think they just said that to not hurt my feelings lol. I will make this again, but next time add a little more mustard to cut the sweetness of the honey.

Coconut Tilapia with Apricot Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2013
My husband loved this. I followed the recipe exact and used sweetened coconut flakes (hubby did the shopping and came back with it), while making it I was worried about the sweetness of the coconut but it came out great. The sauce was just perfect. I'm not a fan of horseradish but I didn't mind it in this recipe. Will definitely make this again.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2013
Of all the homemade brownies I've tried in the past, these are definitely the yummiest and easiest. I followed the recipe exact for the brownie itself. I didn't have confectioners sugar for the frosting but I did have a can of Pillsbury milk chocolate frosting that did the trick. Delicious!!!

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2013
It's a nice flavor without all the added msg and sodium of the packaged stuff. I followed the recipe exact. I've used this a few time in non-taco dishes that called for taco season so I'm not sure how it will hold up on it's own but i'm sure it will do just fine.

Sweet and Sour Drumettes

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2013
Absolutely delicious. It takes some time to fry up the wings but the sauce is well worth it. My husband and 6-year-old daughter love the tangy sweetness. The recipe states 2 pieces per person...yeah right, impossible to only eat 2. The only thing I did different was cut the sugar in about half and it was just the right amount of sweetness for our taste. Definitely placing this recipe in heavy rotation.
