To Die For Fettuccine Alfredo

I made this last night for Valentines Dinner and it was absolutely delicious! As some people had suggested, we minced garlic and onion and sautéed in a little bit of butter. We then removed from heat, added the cream, then melted butter into cream on low heat. I changed it up a bit by adding 3/4 C of parm and 1/2 C of Romano because I like the taste better. We grilled some blackened chicken to go along with it as well. Since we were waiting for the chicken to be done the sauce thickened quite a bit and it seemed a bit salty, we added more cream and kept it on low heat, stirring constantly. It came out perfect, there was none left!
