Colorado Mexican Pizza

Reviewed: May 16, 2008
This pizza was delicious. It looked good with extra green and red peppers on the top. It would have been better with less sour cream and more chicken.

Eggs Benedict

Reviewed: May 16, 2008
This was recipe was delicous. However, there was way too much Hollandaise sauce made for the amount of food prepared. We recommend cutting the sauce recipe in half. The recipe was fairly easy to follow. It does take just about an hour to prepare plus cleaning.

Ham 'n' Brie Sandwiches

Reviewed: May 16, 2008
We made this recipie for our chef and restaurant class. It was quick and easy to make but there are some changes to the recipie that we made that we thought made it better. We toasted (or broiled) the english muffins before we made the sandwiches. We used about three triangular slices of brie per sandwich, one tomato slice, about three pieces of ham, and the spread. Just make sure the ham is hot or at least warm because it made for a strange sandwich with cold ham and other hot items on it. Overall, a great idea to eat for a light lunch if you have the ingredients lying around the house, but don't go out of your way to make it.

Pumpkin Loaf

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2005
The preparation is quick and easy; it only took about 15 minutes. The recipe was easy to follow and most ingredients, beside the pumpkin, is something you’d find in your kitchen. The cook time was accurate, but we were unsatisfied with the outcome. The bread was very bland, and its appearance was unappetizing. The walnuts became black on the edges when cooking, which caused a large contrast with the light colored bread.

Pumpkin Bread II

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2005
The ingredients in this recipe are not commonly found in someones house. The prepartion did not take alots of time and clean up was minimal. The directions were very easy to follow. Before baking, we think the top of the loaf should be smoothed for more even baking and a better apperance. The cook time was also an hour which was one disadvantage. We think the temperature of the oven should be decreased because the bread turned out dry. We think that this reciped needs more sugar because it was very bland. The nuts were good because they added good flavor and texture. Overall we didn't like this recipe because it didn't taste good.

Delicious Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2005
The preperation was very quick and easy. All of the ingrediants except pumpkin are found in most kitchens. The clean up was also very quick. Overall it is an easy recipe. You just combine the ingrediants by hand or in a mixing bowl. The baking time shoud be extended because the center was still mushy with dough. It was definately elicious and there were no overpowering tastes. Everything was blended very well. I would use this recipe again.

Holiday Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2005
This bread would be great for people who love bread with fruit and nuts in it, but we don’t. it had a good flavor, nothing was too strong. There were many ingredients and therefore a lot of clean up. The baking time was perfect, the bread was moist and golden brown.

Caroline Peter Chuck this recipe for pumpkin corn muffins was extremely simple to make. the preparation consisted of 3 easy steps; getting the ingredients, mix, and pour into muffin cups. baking went fine and the one thing that was not good was the blan and dry taste and bright orange appearance.

Pumpkin Bread III

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2005
The recipe was very easy to follow. In a typical kitchen, you might not find allspice or chopped walnuts, however with one trip to the store, those ingredients can be found easily. There was a considerable amount of measuring supplies used, but other than that, the cleaning did not take too long. The pumpkin bread cooked just perfectly as it took one hour to bake. The three members in my cooking group all agreed that the bread was very good tasting yet a little bit dry. The nuts were a nice addition to the bread to add some texture and taste. The spice added a nice touch to the bread and there was a bit of a bite at the end of it which was delicious. This is a great recipe that with a little more "wetness" to it can be perfect.

Pumpkin Rolls I

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2005
All the ingredientswere easily accesable in an average kitchen. The recipe was faily simpleto follow-except forthe specificationson risingtimes- and the preptook around 15-20 min. Clean-up was very simple since it only included 2 bowls, the paddle bar on the mixer, measuring spoonandaspatula. Overall, clean-up took about 5-min. However, we modified the recipe by cutting it in half and it didn't turn out well. I would stick to the main recipe with the normal proportions.

Melt In Your Mouth Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: May 12, 2004
These cookies were really easy to make. They had practical ingredients that you can find in your kitchen and the prep time was about 10 minutes. They also only took 8 minutes to bake- which is really fast. But the ending results were not as great as we thought they would be. There wasn't enough peanut butter in it and it needed more sugar. They tasted very plain and didn't have a lot of taste to them.

Really Basic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: May 12, 2004
The recipe was very easy to follow and make. There wasn't a long, confusing list of ingredients either so it was convenient recipe. The baking was good except for the fact that they burnt. They ended up tasting very dry and very much like peanut butter. There wasn't much of a cookie taste to it. The clean up was extremely easy as there was only one bowl neeeded.

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: May 12, 2004
Our first impressions of these cookies when looking at the recipe was that the ingredients seemed easy to obtain and fitting for a peanut butter recipe. The time it takes to bake the cookies is also very reasonable. When actually putting the ingredients together, things went smoothly and very easily. After everything was mixed together though, the batter just looked like a clump of peanut butter. It was very easy to form balls of dough, which spead up the time too. A dissapointment of these cookies was that they didn't cook evenly. The bottom burnt in about eight minutes, but at that time the top wasn't nearly done. In the end the cookies where ok, but kind of bland. They were gooey wich was nice, but the taste wasn't anything special. I would make this recipe again, but it definitly wasn't my favorite peanut butter cookie recipe.

Peanut Butter Cookies IX

Reviewed: May 12, 2004
After mixting the butters and the sugars let it mix for a min. straight. the recipe is easy to follow. there are some ingredients that you wont have in your kitchen. you have to stir in the chocolate chips and not let them mix in the blender because they wont mix very well. The cookies were good they tasted like peanut butter cookie. They were hard but soft and chewy. When letting it bake let bake for 8 to 10 mins for they all could cook at the same time.

Soft and Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: May 12, 2004
Preparation was really easy, ingredients were ones that you could find laying around the house. Very fast and easy preparation. The baking time was fine but the cookies turn out better if you take them out one minute early..17 minutes. The cookies themselves were really tastey and appealing. We would suggest adding more sugar and a pinch of cinnamon to spice them up a little bit! All in all a very satisfying recipe.

Peanut Butter Cookies III

Reviewed: May 12, 2004
Prep: All the ingredients can be found in an average kitchen except for, maybe, the condensed milk. Preparation took about 10-15 minutes. The recipe was easy to follow and didn't use a lot of equipment, so cleanup was easy. Baking notes: Easy to bake, but we'd keep them in the oven a little longer. Taste: We found the cookie to be somewhat bland, perhaps because the source of sweetness was only the condensed milk. We would add some sugar.
