Classy Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2005
Ok, this is my what I did. I only used 2 chicken breast halves and took the advice of others and increased the chicken broth to 1 cup. I used mushrooms instead of zuchinni, and I left out the sundried tomatoes (I didn't have any). Once it was done cooking, there was a lot of liquid left over, so I added half a bag of stuffing mix. It made it a thick gravy and a meal in itself. It turned out to be something diffent than the original, but it was very good and I will definitely make it again - the same way.

Caramel Peanut Fudge

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2005
I followed the suggestions made by looders and it came our perfect! I forgot to add the peanuts to the filling layer, so I added them to the carmel layer and it worked out fine. Will pass this recipe along.

Southern Living magazine's Brunswick Stew

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2005
This brunswick stew tasted just like the stuff you get a BBQ joints here in NC. The only things I changed were: I've always had brunswick stew with chicken and pork. . . so I got some country style pork ribs and boiled them for 30 minutes and baked them for 1 hours. The meat just fell off the bone. I left out the bell peppers and the onion. I cooked it in a slow cooker for 2 hours and didn't add the potatoes, lima beans and corn until the last 30 minutes. It was delicious.

Grandma's Corn Pudding

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2005
This recipe was so easy. The only change that I made to the recipe was to add a tsp. of vanilla extract. My fiance likes his corn pudding sweet. Delicious. Will make again.

Donna's Famous Cheesecake

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2005
I just bought a graham cracker crust from the grocery store and followed steps 3 and 4. I used reduced fat cream cheese and fat free sour cream. It came out delicious. This is the easiest recipe and very, very tasty.

Chocolate Covered Cherries II

Reviewed: May 7, 2004
These are better than store bought. My grocery store only had 10oz jars of cherries, so I bought two. The cherries were pretty small, so I was able to yield about 35 to 40 cherries out of the recipe. Also, I didn't have any almond extract, so I used vanilla. I made these on a Wednesday for Mother's Day that Sunday so they could sit for a few days and almost ate all of them. I will definately pass on this recipe. ***Warning*** I can't remember which brand of margarine I used the first time I made these, but the dough comes out different depending on the brand of margarine. Land of Lakes comes out pretty sticky.

Apple Crumble Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2004
Wonderful recipe. I used a 9 inch Keebler Graham Pie Crust and used Golden Delicious apples. They were average size and I only had to use two apples. I cut the crumble topping in half to reduce the calories, and it turned out perfect. Place aluminum foil along the edges of the pie crust to keep them from burning. Thank you so much for the delicious recipe. Will definately make again.

Breaded Center Cut Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2004
I got so tired of BBQ pork chops that I went in search of a new recipe and I found it. This recipe was awesome! It makes the house smell so good while it cooks. The only suggestions that I would make would be to measure out 1/8-1/4 of what the recipe calls for in flour. I wasted alot of flour. Also, my chops got soggy on the bottom, so I would flip them for the last 20 minutes. And a personal suggestion is to add more dill weed. It smells and tastes so good and it doesn't overpower the rest of the flavors. I will make this many more times. Thank you.

Baked Mushroom Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2004
This is delicious. I too used the whole can of broth and increased the cooking time to about 45 minutes. I love mushrooms, so I put in a whole bunch. . . at least a cup.

I went to a party for a friend who was serving sweet and sour meatballs. I came straight home and found this recipe. They are so delicious. I wouldn't change a thing about it.

Swink's Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2004
This is the best chili I have ever made. It tastes just like the chili that you get at Wendy's. I like my chili sweet, so I added a tablespoon of brown sugar. Otherwise, it's PERFECT!!!
