Creamy Ranch Pork Chops and Rice
This was a very good comfort food. It was easy to put together with flavorful results. I used a package of 4 pork loin chops, which I seared in a little olive oil seasoned with Hawaiian sea salt and balck pepper with one clove of garlic and ranch dressing mix. I mixed the dressing with the can cream of mushroom soup and threw in one sliced russet potatoes with a dash of Worchestershire sauce for more flavor. Towards the end I threw in some sweet peas for color, taste and nutrition. The creamy mushroom sauce was so scrumptious and not too thick, with the sweet peas, tender moist pork and potatoes. I smothered the sauce all over the rice and it made for a creamy, enjoyable meal. Perfectly flavored over hot steaming rice!

Toasted Garlic Bread
I mixed about ¼ cup of softened butter with a little olive oil, then stirred in a handful of fresh chopped garlic, basil, parsley and a little oregano. I also sprinkled in some Hawaiian sea salt and fresh ground black pepper. I sliced the Italian loaf into 2 inch thick slices and spread the butter mixture generously on both sides. I shredded some fresh mozzarella cheese which I sprinkled on top right before placing the bread into the oven. I baked the bread for about 6 to 8 minutes, checking it often, until the cheese was nicely melted and I could smell the garlic. The addition of melted mozzarella was delicious and cheese-y! The flavor was seasoned just right and went perfectly with our meals tonight. I served this with, “Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs,” also from this website.

Grilled Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich
We love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches but wanted something slightly different. This was great twist. I used Skippy’s Creamy Peanut Butter with Strawberry Jam and some with Guava Jelly. Oh my goodness! Who would have thought that just buttered and grilled PBJ sandwich would be so scrumptious. It was just warm, creamy, ooey, gooey, sweet and delicious! So simple and yet so satisfying! This was great with a cold glass of milk but I would most likely make this again with tomato soup to make it more of a complete meal.
