Honestly, I have never made homemade brownies before but holy moly. These brownies are the best brownies ever. If you can look past the two cups of sugar required (batter/frosting) and the stick and a half of butter, you will enjoy them as much as I did. They are very easy to make. The frosting is more of a fudge and if you are brave, double the frosting recipe. It will add a whole different delicious fudgy layer to the already amazing brownie. It does make for much all in all (the batter) but it's so decadent that you only need a few bites. :)
