Pierogi Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2006
This was wonderful! I have never had a pierogi, so I wasn´t sure what this should taste like, and the combination of ingredients sounded a little strange, but it was a big hit and I will be making it again! My husband liked it cold the next day. Yummy!!

Overnight Cinnamon Rolls I

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2005
Very good recipe-the dough is easy to work with and they raised very nicely.I save my tuna fish cans and use them as pans instead of a muffin tin. They form perfectly shaped rolls every time. My yield(with the tuna cans) was 18 for this recipe. I also use the tuna cans for making large muffins.

Hot Mexican Spinach Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2005
Wonderful flavors! I made this for some friends and they loved it! I can´t get salsa where I live(out of the USA), so I subbed a can of diced tomatoes, half an onion, minced, and a couple cloves of chopped garlic. I will make this again. Thanks for a great recipe!

Mom's Buttermilk Biscuits

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2005
I made these biscuits and I think the flavor would be much better with the addition of a tablespoon of sugar and a teaspoon of salt, not 1/2 teaspoon of salt, as stated. Brushing buttermilk on top of the muffins before baking gives them a nice shine. Otherwise, a good recipe.

Empire Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2004
I tried this cookie for Christmas and loved it. I used red decorating sugar instead of the cherries and it ¨melted¨ into the icing and looked really pretty. I will make these again, and not just at Christmas. Yum!

D'Amaretti Biscotti

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2004
I have tried many biscotti recipes, but my Italian father-in-law says these are the best. I use toasted hazlenuts or almonds, and like to use an orange-lemon extract for the flavoring to give them a "true" Italian-taste. Very good.
