Giant Spice Cookies

So easy and So good! The flavor was wonderful and the texture was soft in the middle and a little harder along the edges. They melted in our mouths! We shared them with friends and they loved them too!

Easy Sugar Cookies

VERY EASY AND SO YUMMY. I also bought the store icing in the little canisters, and divided it into different bowls and added food coloring. My kids had so much fun decorating these. My 2 year old couldn't get enough of these cookies.

Pumpkin Chiffon Pie I

My family has been making this recipe for three generations at Christmas and Thanksgiving. VERY GOOD recipe. Make sure when cooking over double boiler, that you let all of the water cook out. My mom uses a paper towel to absorb some of the water. It helps to keep the crust from becoming soggy. THIS is the ONLY recipe for pumpkin pie that we have ever used. A small difference in my recipe is the cooking directions. They are... Beat egg yolks and 1/2 cup sugar (add gradually) until thick. Add pumpkin, milk, salt and spices. Cook in double boiler until real thick. COOL. Add gelatine stiffened in cold water (stir until gelatine dissolves. Add egg whites with remaining 1/2 cup sugar (merangue) Fold into pumpkin mixture. Pour mixture into cooled baked shell and chill. If desired, top with sweetened, whipped cream. Very good. Give it a try. Might take a few times (practice) to get it right, but don't give up because this is the Best when done right.

Pumpkin Cake I

I love this cake. It is so good! I also added 1 tsp of ground ginger. Adds a little more flavor to it! We now make it the night before Thanksgiving (while everyone is anxiously waiting for the Thanksgiving dinner) this cake will please them. Give it a try! This is good with cream cheese frosting. Also great with mini chocolate chips!

Balsamic and Rosemary Grilled Salmon

I eat salmon b/c it is healthy. I don't like the flavor of fish. BUT this was awesome! Even my kids liked it (and they don't like fish either). We will definately make this again. TRY IT! Delicious!!!!

Sloppy Joes II

SOOOO good and EASY, I made this in about 20 minutes. Beats Rachael Ray 30 minute meals! I didn't have prepared mustard, so I used regular mustard, and I used tomatoe sauce, since I ran out of ketchup. My four kids loved it (and they are picky) and my husband loved it.

Blackberry Cobbler

Excellent texture of the cobbler part and the berry part was sweet. We used fresh picked blackberries. This is better than what my grandma used to make! Thank you for submitting the recipe. Oh, and I cooked it in a 9x13 pan, not a skillet.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Not the best of the choc. chip recipes I've tried. Followed recipe to the T. Cookies spread while cooking. The first batch was totally flat (and burned). The next batch I took out early and they were still relatively flat. I'm going to keep looking for an awesome recipe. This wasn't it though.
