Berdean's Cube Steak

I used Montreal seasoning instead of salt and pepper. I also carmalized 1 small onion before I pan fried the cube steaks. This was very good. I made mashed potatoes and peas to go along with it.

Pesto Cheesy Chicken Rolls

This was VERY good. I seasoned the chicken first with season salt and pepper, then I spread the pesto on, added sun dried tomatoes, then the mozzarella cheese and rolled them up. Then I rolled them in Italian bread crumbs and lightly sprayed them with butter flavor crisco. Then I cooked them in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. YUM!

Glazed Pork Chop

These pork chops were pretty good. I first seasoned them with Paula Deen's house seasoning, then I put the mustard glaze on them. I had to cook them for 30 minutes at 325 degrees instead of the 20 minutes listed in the recipe.Next time I will cook them at 350 for the 20 minutes.

Meatloaf with Fried Onions and Ranch Seasoning

This is hands down the BEST meatloaf recipe I have found! (and I have tried alot of recipes for meatloaf, but have never been happy with any of them) I will definitely be making this again.

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Good vegetable soup recipe. I added a can of chickpeas, and seasoned with garlic powder and pepper, (soup is bland without some seasonings) Next time I would omit the green pepper as it gave the soup a funny taste.

Guinness® Corned Beef

This was very good. I couldn't find a "single" bottle of Guinness beer, and since no one in my family drinks beer, I had to find a different beer to use. I ended up using 18 oz of Heineken and I also added 1 cup of gingerale. I cooked the cabbage, potatoes, carrots and onions along with the corned beef all together in my crockpot for 9 1/2 hours and it was very tender and almost falling apart delicious. I would definitely make this again.

Roast Pork with Maple and Mustard Glaze

This was a awesome recipe.I used a 2/12 pound boneless boston butt pork roast and I took the sugestion from someone who upped the heat in the oven to 425º for the first 20 minutes and then continued cooking at 375º for 40 minutes. I also had to cook it for 30 minutes more due to the internal temperature was only at 140º. I also roasted some onions in the marinade while it was cooking. Will definately make again.

Strawberry Muffins

These muffins were ok at best. I used other reviewers comments about adding the cinnamon, brown sugar (Splenda)and vanilla,but the came out very dry. I also used regular Splenda for the sugar. I wasn't happy with the texture, but the flavor was ok.

Grilled Zucchini II

Seven Layer Taco Dip

I took this Mexican dip to a party this weekend and it was gone within 30 minutes! I did make a few changes. Instead of using fresh tomato, I used a can of petite diced tomatoes, I also added a 16 oz can of Mexicorn and used Mexican blend shredded cheese. Will definately make again.

Linguine with Peppers and Sausage

This recipe has good flavor; but it didn't "knock my socks off". I used bow tie pasta instead of linguine, and I used 1 green pepper instead of the red peppers. I also sprinkled a little basil in with the sausage and pepper mixture while it was cooking. As for the cheese, I used a blend of parmesan and romano. I will most likely make this again.

Pork Chops with Pear Sauce

Too me this recipe was just okay. I made this recipe with a few changes. First of all, I used 2 little Delmonte pear cups and the juice from them, instead of using fresh pears and buying pear juice. Second, I did not puree the pear mixture, as I like the texture of the whole little pears instead. I put 1 tablespoon of cinnamon in it and it was way too overpowering and gave it a gritty taste. Next time I will definitely add the cinnamon by "to taste", not buy these measurements. Also, my mixture was thickened in 20 minutes; it didn't take 30 minutes like the recipe said. Overall, it had a good flavor. This can also be done with apples if you do not like pears.

Bowties and Broccoli

I really did not care for this receipe. I cut this recipe in half, and instead of sliced garlic, I used minced garlic (the one that comes in the jar)and added Mrs. Dash's Tomato-Basil-Garlic seasoning. To me it had too much garlic flavor... Maybe it was because I used the minced garlic instead of the sliced garlic, I don't know. I like garlic, but I do not like tasting garlic hours later after I ate .... Probably will not make again.

Connie's Zucchini "Crab" Cakes

Very Good. I've been looking for a different way to fix zucchini.(Especially since I don't really like zucchini in the first place...) I would not mistake it for the real "crab cakes"though. Also, I think it needs some kind of dipping sauce to go with it. I used a dill dressing, and it went good with it.

Creamy Italian Dressing I

Excellent dressing recipe. Anytime I am asked to bring a salad to a cookout, this dressing is always requested. I also have tried shallots in stead of the onion and it turned out reaaly good also. Definite keeper!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

This recipe is an awesome blast from the past!! I remember eating this growing up. I took others advice and added sliced onions on top of the roast when I put it in the crock pot. It gave it more onion flavor. Great comfort food.

Rosemary Sherry Pork Chops
