Absolutely amazing. These are the kind of cookies that are going in my family's special recipe collection. I was craving those Grandma's Iced Oatmeal cookies (the crunchy ones at the store) so I used this recipe to recreate them and they turned out amazing!
I followed the recipe exactly, although I added 1/4 tsp each of nutmeg and clove to add a hint of spice, and 1/2 cup of nuts for some crunch. Flattened them (these don't spread, and I didn't chill them either) and baked at 375 for 12 minutes. They were thick, crunchy and absolutely delicious. I iced half of them with a vanilla icing which made them that much better, although the plain ones were equally as delicious!
