Cream of Spinach Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2004
WOW. I just finished making this soup, and it tastes way better than I thought it would. Who knew so few ingredients could taste so good! I along with most of the others put a few piches of nutmeg, and I also put a pinch of cayenne pepper just to give it a little kick. I will definately be making this one again and again. Thanks for sharing Joyce :)

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

This was really good. It did taste a bit like chili, but thats ok too. It was easy, and made a huge batch, and my teens all loved it. Thanks for sharing.

This is FANTASTIC! I have made it several times, and it is one of very few recipes that I have followed to the "T", but I would not change a thing. Everyone who I have made it for absolutely loves it. Thanks for the recipe :)

Clam Chowder III

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2005
I found this chowder to be good, but a little on the bland side. So I added an extra can of clams, 1/2 tsp thyme, 1/2 tsp seasoning salt, 1 tsp dried dill and a couple slices of crumbled cooked bacon. I will definately be making this one again. Thanks

Baked Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2005
I made this for Christmas and then again for Easter and everyone loved it. It has the perfect amount of Brandy. The only change I make is,I throw in a couple of slices of orange peel while it's cooking. Tastes great heated and poured over ice cream too.

Mom's Chicken Cacciatore

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2005
I have made this a few times now, and everyone really likes it. I omit the flour coating and I use chicken breasts just to make it a little lower in fat, and serve it with Tomato Basil spagetti noodles. Thanks for the recipe Jana.

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2005
Very Good. The only changes I made were.... I added a tsp of cinnamon, and I stirred the sliced apples directly into the sauce after it simmered, then poured them into the pie crust. Best apple pie I have ever made. Thanks, it was enjoyed by all!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2005
I too followed this recipe to a "T" and it turned out very very dry. As soon as I added the chocolate, I could hardly mix it. Once it cooled I tried to cut it, it just crumbles.

Applesauce Barbeque Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2006
This tastes just as good as the famous apple bbq sauce served at Montana's restaraunt, and so easy to make. I spread it over chicken and bake in the oven, brushing more on every 15 minutes or so to get a nice thick coating as it bakes on. My family loves it.

I have made these a few times with just a few changes. I double up on the vinegar, add 1 tsp pickling salt, 2 Tbsp pickling spice, and a dried chilli pepper to spice it up a bit. We love them, and I have shared the recipe with many friends. Thanks

I made these to go along side our Turkey dinner for something a little different than boiled or roasted brussels. They tasted pretty good. I will be making them again when I want a change from my roasted ones. Thanks

This is one of my favorate ways to have asparagus next to roasting them. I also use this exact method to make my green beans. It's the only way I'll eat them. Yum!

Pickle Rollups

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2008
I make these a couple of different ways. But the most popular with my family is, sliced ham with pickled asparagus. And the cream cheese spreads a little easier if you pat the slices of ham dry with a paper towel first.
