Spiced Pumpkin Molasses Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2010
I did not change a thing except for using all whole wheat flour. Excellent recipe with just the right amount of sweetness and spice. Thank you Ash for submitting this recipe-definitely will be making it on a regular basis.

Honey Wheat Cookies

I've made these twice. Once with the milk powder and once without. These are definitely tastier when the milk powder is used.

Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2007
Though these were tasty, these are more of a sugar cookie shaped like gingerbread men. Also the dough was so dry I ended up adding another egg just so that they wouldn't fall apart, when rolling and cutting-also had to use my hands to press together. I am surprised more comments have not been mentioned on the crumbliness of this dough.

Butterscotch Sauce II

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2006
I used honey for the corn syrup, just because we didn't have any. My kids loved it on vanilla icecream. My son insists we keep this recipe forever.

Restaurant-Quality Maple Oatmeal Scones

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2006
I was hoping for more flavour in this scone. The dough was also very sticky to work with. I will go back to Grandma Johnson's Scone recipe, and never stray again!

Breaded Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2004
I baked half and fried the other half. I have to say, even though unhealthier, you have to fry these if you're looking for exceptional chicken strips.

Japanese Chicken Wings

Excellent recipe! I used drumsticks. And as other reviewers recommended-use foil to line pan, or you'll have a very sticky clean-up.

Rhubarb Stir Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2004
This was very good, and so easy to make. Longer baking time was required though. I baked an extra 15 mins. and at that point just turned the oven off and left the cake in. Also used cinnamon instead for topping that turned out sweet and crunchy.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

This coating was delicous. Can be used on different kinds of fish. I used lime juice-didn't have lemon. My 8 year old son who is ever so picky ate a piece-so that's saying a lot!
