I added an extra 1/3 cup pumpkin purée per another members suggestion (for more pumpkin flavor) and I did not like the results very much. The batter is heavy and the pancakes don't really rise with the added 1/3 cup of purée and you get some dense raw looking pancakes that I feel did not cook very well regardless of cooking time. It tasted like I was eating heated pumpkin purée. I will try these tomorrow with extra flour and more rising agents and maybe an extra egg and see what I get.
