Sweet, Salty, Spicy Party Nuts
Wow - HOT! Chef John likes his cayenne pepper!! I also added 1/2 tsp cumin & 1/2 tsp coriander & 2 tbsp. honey which my favourite brought nuts have on them! However, the honey probably made them more sticky! Next time I would cut in half the cayenne and maybe just add an 1/8 tsp coriander & cumin and add more salt. I'm not in real spicy things, and I felt the spicyness took over the sweet & saltyness. Otherwise great idea.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Really nice! I had 18 brussel sprouts I was given that I needed to use & to tell the truth I was a bit sceptical about whether these would be nice & was doing them for the first time ever with company over. I actually put these in a re-sealable bag with the oil & salt 24 hours before & left in the fridge in the bag. I then took them out & roasted them in a oven full of other food on 200C for about 30-35 mins. I had several guests ask me if a had stir-fried them to make them so nice & they couldn't believe I had roasted them. They also couldn't believe they only had salt, pepper & oil on them - absolutely yummy! One of my guests said she has only every tasted nice Brussels sprouts once before, but now this makes it twice.
