Pecan Sandies

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2011
What a great cookie. I was looking for a pecan sandie type & this is it. I did change the sugar as some reviewers suggested to 1/2 cup each of white & brown sugar & used butter. I also pressed pecan pieces into the top of each cookie. Will make this again & again.

Crunch Bar

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2005
Great recipe !! I made then with club crackers & used milk chocolate toffee chips. The nuts didn't stick as well because of the toffee BUT who cares! I ate all of the nuts that fell off. It takes no time to make & is great for a last minute dessert. Thanks.

Awesome Ham Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2005
What a great recipe. I made it for a graduation party. The only change I made was to use 16 oz. of ziti & relish instead of pickles. There was enough sauce for the extra ziti. It tastes better the longer it stands. Can't wait to make it again.

Baked Scallops

Reviewed: May 5, 2005
I just love this recipe. The 1st time I made it, I added about 8 ozs. of shrimp & used 1 tsp of the minced garlic from the jar. I didn't drain the scallops enough so it appeared a little runny. I just dumped more bread crumbs in the dish & mixed it & baked a few more minutes. The 2nd time I made it I just mixed everything together with a cup of bread crumbs & it came out perfect. Will HAPPILY made this over & over again. Great & easy dish for company. Thanks.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: May 5, 2005
I think this is a great cookie. I read all the reviews B4 I made it. The only thing I did different was to use dark brown sugar & 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. I had to bake them for 12 minutes. The recipe made at least 6 dozen. I will make this again.

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2004
10 Stars!! Just the best bread recipe ever. I use 2-1/2 tsp of yeast & Hollywood oil & it comes out perfect. I have baked it in the machine & also take it out & let it rise in a 9x5 pan for 30 minutes & bake at 350ยบ for 30 minutes. I read ever review & have to thank KWEHRHAN on 4-4-02 & BERMYROSE on 11-10-03 for their suggestions. The peperoni bread was great for a dinner with a salad. The bread made with 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour was also wonderful. Plan to e-mail all my friends with this recipe.
