A Journey Begins

My first blog post, all the way back in August, was written and forgotten. Rereading my own words has left me wondering about a lot. First, let me thank the people who posted comments with words, prayers, and thoughts
of encouragement (even those who thought they were on another blog :P). It was a pleasant surprise to find that it had been read but at the same time I felt bad. Thinking about how hard it is to find good information on PCOS syndrome, the struggles that those
with it go through (my own included!), and the general lack of knowledge on the subject.
A Not So Apparent Calling?
While I don’t think this is my calling, to write about PCOS and how food (and other related ideas) can help it, but there are so few people out in cyberspace that do. So just maybe I could be one of those too few
people who not only understands the nightmare that PCOS can be but also may help someone else. And even if I don’t it would still be good for me to have a record of my own journey. I am not an expert but I do my research and I am a pretty darn good cook. I
also have a knack for finding great recipes and making them healthier yet still delicious!
A Game Plan
So now that I am officially excited at the prospect of this challenge I need a plan. Please forgive my inexperience; this is only my second blog post. If you are reading this, if you are looking for help and now
saying, “Great another person who doesn’t know what they are doing,” and while this may be true, for now because I am a very fast learner, I do know about PCOS and cooking. My health is important to me and with PCOS my choice in food matters. And there it
is, I love it when something figures itself out, this is exactly what my blog will be about.
My blog, this little piece of cyberspace that is mine, will be about PCOS and how eating right and the right kinds of food can help. Along the way I will also continue to educate myself and share this with readers
about the syndrome. And of course there will be food, which is what this site is all about! My goal is to try and post a blog every few days with one a week my minimum. Next time I plan on sharing what PCOS is and a bit on my struggle with the syndrome.
