Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
This is the BEST chocolate cookie recipe EVER!!!! I followed this recipe to the letter --- even the part where it instructed to dissolve the baking soda in the water. One thing I have learned in making a great cookie vs. a good cookie.... Have 4 cookie sheets lined with parchment paper so you can make one batch of cookies all on COOL cookie sheets. I have learned from past experiences that warm cookie sheets re-used throughout the batch causes the cookie dough to start spreading before the cookies even reach the oven resulting (in my opinion) a flatter cookie. And who doesn't love a great lookin' cookie?!?!

Red Skinned Potato Salad
Loved this tasty homemade potato salad recipe although I did make a few changes. I used more celery - 4 smaller stalks diced very small to add more crunch to the potato salad. I also added the cooked potatoes (after rinsing with cold water) directly to the mixture -- I find that the flavors just blend together so lovely when it's slightly warm. Additionally, I used a few more potatoes than the recipe called for. I would think that with only 2 pounds of potatoes to 2 cups of mayo would be a bit too much mayo for my taste. I used more along the lines of 3 1/2 to 4 lbs. of potatoes and added 1 additional cooked egg. Wonderfully tasty and so very easy to make!
