Made this yesterday. Prepared the filling and pie crust before work, then refrigerated till I got home. Warmed the filling in the mike, put it in a 9 x 13 glass casserole dish, rolled out the pie dough and put it on top, and baked it. I did use mixed frozen veggies instead of the peas and carrots, and added a cup of cooked, chopped butternut squash. My husband actually scraped up the last bits with his finger from his plate-- that's how good it was! This is not something you can make quickly, but is so good when you have the time.
