Gramma Bertha's Banana Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2015
I've got to say, I was really looking forward to eating this cake. To say it is rich is a understatement because it is also very dense. This is more like a bread than cake. It was too sweet for most of us with icing (it was a birthday cake), but a few of us were able to eat a big piece of it. If you are looking for a moist, less dense (more cake-like) banana cake then this is not your recipe.

Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2013
I'm not quite sure what I did wrong, but this recipe was very crumbly and almost impossible to roll. I made less than 2 dozen from a double batch. I suspect it could be my fault for using the no sugar, instant butterscotch pudding - it's all the store had and I had time to locate. The taste is very pleasant though.

Spinach Artichoke Feta Ball

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2013
this is a excellent recipe with one minor change - don't use the entire ranch package! That's it and it is delicious and everyone who eats it will think you're amazing but it was simple to put together. I recommend serving it with a butter cracker for the full, gluttonous effect. Your guest will be in love.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2013
Good flavor and maybe it was how I prepared the cookies, but they were a little dry. I prefer a more moist, buttery cookie. If you feel the same way, I'd keep looking for another recipe.

Buttermilk Pancakes II

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2013
Excellent recipe! Perfect pancake. Taste like something I ordered at my favorite local pancake joint but it's from my kitchen. Best advice I read and followed: don't over mix the batter, flour fruit or items prior to mixing with batter to keep them from sinking. Also, let wet mix items (eggs, buttermilk, milk) sit out at room temperature for an hour before use. We made blueberry and banana with pecan pancakes - so good! Enjoy!

Delicious. A little bit of effort goes a long way.
