Stuffing for Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2015
Loved it. Turned out perfectly (with the reduced amount of liquid reviewers recommended). Very similar to my grandma's stuffing, which I always loved. Perfect mix of soft and crunchy cooking this way.

Easy Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2014
Really good! I added taco seasoning to about 1.5 lb of meat and the salsa. Gave a good flavor but not too spicy. Added about 1 cup frozen corn in place of beans to cater to my kids' tastes. I will not skip the beans next time (sorry kiddos), they would have rounded the taste out, but will keep the corn addition. I think I will use a guacamole/sour cream mix next time. The sour cream alone was a little overpowering for my taste. Will definitely make again. Good easy dinner!

Oatmeal Cookie Apple Crisp

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2014
Absolutely delicious and a simple recipe, too! I made no changes and it turned out beautifully. Used 3 very large honeycrisp apples. I will definitely make this again.

Broccoli Mango Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2014
I had to try this because the ingredients were such an unusual combination. Plus, we have tons of mango in the freezer from our tree. It was surprisingly good! Flavors combined really well. Not something I would make often, as I really don't love raw broccoli, but it was a good recipe.

Sesame Noodles

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2014
My family really liked these noodles! Made several times, served both hot and cold. Rating 4 stars because did reduce oil to 4tbsp and sugar to 4 tbsp (use brown sugar--tasted better). More sugar would have been too sweet. Added a bag of stir fry veges (fried up in some of the sauce). We preferred this dish served cold. Noodles soaked up sauce after awhile, more flavorful and no sauce on bottom of bowl after 1-2 hours.

Slow Cooker Cilantro Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2014
We love this, and it is so easy! Perfect for a busy day. Followed suggestion to add cilantro for last hour or two of cooking, and used sodium-free taco seasoning I make at home.

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2014
I just made this bread, and it was amazing! So moist inside, slightly crunchy on the outside. I think I've found a new favorite! Followed the recipe exactly. I considered subbing in some brown sugar for white, but after tasting results I will not change a thing. Definitely need to cool 20 minutes before removing from pan. Would easily fall apart if not partially cooled. Thank you for a great recipe!

Tasty Collard Greens

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2014
My first time making Collard greens myself, and this recipe was excellent! My husband and kids LOVED them. Everyone had extra helpings, which never happens with a vegetable. Added 1 tsp brown sugar and 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar as some reviews recommended, and left out crushed red pepper because my kids can't handle spicy. I added some Tabasco on my helping, and definitely kicked the flavor up to the next level. Delicious with or without though. Thanks!

Cheeseburger Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2014
My daughter LOVED this recipe. My husband liked it, but likes my regular meatloaf recipe better. I had no trouble rolling the meatloaf using parchment paper. Perhaps because my meat was still quite cold, and did not stick as much as warmer meat might have. Topped with mix of 1/4 cup ketchup, 1 tbsp. brown sugar and 1 tsp. worchestershire.
