Mahogany Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2005
Good recipe. Good balance of sweet and hot. I pre-fried the wings just a bit. Put in the crock pot and wow pretty good. I did use tobasco instead of chili sauce. I bet this would be wonderful as a steak marinade or like another reviewer said Chicken "big parts" in the crock pot.

Chicken Tortilla Soup I

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2004
Easy, Easy! The addition of the cream of chicken soup makes it perfect. I substituted one can of Rotel and one of diced tomatoes in place of the can of green-chilis and the can of crushed tomatoes. And as others I omited the hominy. Topped with shredded cheese and a spoon of Sour cream. We enjoyed it and I will make it a family regular.

Hash Brown and Pork Chop Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2004
Comfort food! I used mushroom soup, blended the cheese(I used mozzarella and cheddar) in the hash browns NOT on top, I cooked onions in a little butter in the same pan I browned(not cooked!) the Chops in. Cooked with Chops on top and they turned out tender and the potatoes done! I did cook at 350 for 1 1/2hrs. Good comfort recipe!

Pecan Pie Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2004
These are so good. There is a company that sells mixes for Homemade dinner table appeal...I swear this is the same ingredients and there's cost $6.00 a mix and you still have to add eggs and butter. The only difference is the cost! Must use Mini tins!! Well Greased! Awesome muffins!

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2004
This is a good basic biscuit recipe. When I got this recipe there were a few negative reviews so my take is this, use good ingredients, not all milk, shortening and flour are created equal! My family gobbled them up!
