Baked Pork Chops I
I fried the pork chops for about 3 minutes per side prior to baking them. I had really thick pork chops so I baked them for only 40 minutes before pulling them out to add the sauce. Unfortunately the chops were already at a temperature of 150 before I added the sauce, so I only cooked them 10 minutes longer. All in all this was a good recipe, but be careful of the cooking times since my gravy ended up fairly watery due to the lack of cooking time, and my thick chops were somewhat dry the whole way through.

Pumpkin Gingerbread
So my baby was crying as I was adding the spices, so I ended up rushing and not following the recipe as closely as I otherwise would have. I Added two teaspoons of cinnamon, and I thought it called for pumpkin pie spice instead of allspice. Otherwise I followed this exactly and it smells as good as it tastes! I did have a longer cooking time since I baked both loaves at the same time.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
Apparently I did not pay close enough attention prior to making this recipe and didn't really follow it closely. I added a carrot, two celery stalks, an onion, and some shredded chicken from the roasted one we made 2 days earlier. We'd also made stock from the carcass, so we added that as well. I put the biscuit dough in about 2 hours before I ate the soup. But it all turned out great (though it needed more salt). This recipe was a great inspiration to get this started, and I'm sure I'll use it soon!
