Buffalo Chicken Panini

I love buffalo chicken so had high hopes for this. I followed the recipe exactly but unfortunately can't give more than 3 stars. It just seemed to be missing something.

Grandma Jeanette's Amazing German Red Cabbage

I made this for an Oktoberfest party/potluck and everyone loved it. The only thing I changed was cooking the cabbage in a crockpot on high for about 4 hours so I didn't have to sit with it. This also made serving easy because it could be taken straight from the crockpot on warm setting.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

I love all of these ingredients so I had really high hopes for this. Even with low sodium soy sauce the salty taste was just too much. 3 stars might be a little generous - if I got this in a restaurant I would send it back.

Broccoli Cheese Soup V

This was great. As is, this was 5 stars. Like other reviewers I used half velveeta and half cheddar. I also added a slice of habanero cheese and it gave it a little kick.

White Chili with Ground Turkey

I had really high hopes for this but I thought the cumin and/or cinnamon were way too overpowering. I think this would be better with some slicked mushrooms in it but I probably won't make it again to find out. Don't take my word for it though - a lot of people think it's great.

Original Homemade Italian Beef

This was great. I used beer instead of water and put everything in at once, set it on low, and let it cook all day. It was perfect when I got home.

Rock's T-Bone Steaks

This was the first time I have grilled a t-bone and this rub was perfect. The steak looked amazing and tasted every bit as good. I did leave out the coriander beacuse I did not have any.

If you didn't think these were great you probably made them wrong. Grilling is definitely the way to go. A few of mine got charred on one side at the end of cooking but it was a good flavor change every once in a while.

Buffalo Chicken Stromboli

As-is, the recipe gets a 4. With the suggestion from another site of adding celery and carrots cooked in butter, the recipe gets a 12. I also used pizza crust (thin crust) just because that is what I've done before.

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

I have never had this soup at OG but it is very good. My only gripe is that the end result was a little greasy/oily. This is most likely from the italian sausage (I used hot) so I think next time I would use turkey sausage or maybe even links. I used microwave bacon too or else it probably would have been really greasy. Either way, it still tastes very good and I have a lot of it so I will be eating it for a while.

Penne with Spicy Vodka Tomato Cream Sauce

This was pretty good but I can't decide if I'll make it again or not. I followed the recipe to the letter and some bites were really good while others were just ok. After reading the reviews I expected this to be the best pasta I'd ever eaten. Good, but didn't blow me away.

This was very good and I will be making it again but I was hoping the sauce would be a little thicker. Next time I think I will try marinading in the sauce for a while before putting the asparagus on the grill.

This was good, I just felt like there was something missing. It was so easy that if I have everything on hand I will be making it again. I think maybe a little bit of sauce of some kind or something to thicken this would make it better.

This was really good, the only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is that the sauce was pretty thin. I will make this again but try some of the suggestions for thickening the sauce next time I do.

West Texas-Style Buffalo Chili

I have made this a few times now and everyone loves it. I follow the recipe exactly and wouldn;t change a thing - I do add a tiny bit of sour cream in my own bowl but it is great without it. It is too spicy for my mom and a few others but this is my dad's favorite too so thanks for sharing.
