Easy Baklava

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2006
I hate to go against the majority, but my family didnt like this at all. They all said it was too sweet. I love sweet things, but I felt the same. Tried it the next day to see if it tasted better and it was even worse. Sorry - Wont be making this one anytime soon.

Baklava

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2006
I hate to go against the majority, but my family actually did not care for this. Although the nut filling was tasty, the over all, was too sweet. I would definitely cut down on the amount of sugar and water that is poured on the top in the end. We ended up tossing this out. I'm sorry, but this one is not a keeper in our house.

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2005
A little watery for my personal taste. I followed the advise of another and added heavy cream and it was a little better.

Great recipe, but I thought there was too much pasta! I cut back on that but thought the flavor was awesome! Thank you for sharing a wonderful seafood recipe!

Excellent pie recipe. Very easy! Too much pumpkin for a reg. pie shell and took longer than an hour to bake, but all in all, was fabulous!!!

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2004
This is a delicious recipe! My VERY picky husband and son loved it! I changed just a few things. Because some people said the pork chops came out dry, I decided not to keep them warming up in the preheated oven - instead because its summer I did them on the grill at the same time I made the sauce. That way they would both be done at the same time, plus the grill made them taste that much better!! I seasoned the chops with only pepper when I put them on the grill. I used regular butter (not the unsalted), I omitted the nutmeg (only because I didnt have any) I used a regular MacIntosh apple and I tripled the sauce ingredents. IT WAS DELISH!!!! So happy I found this one! My family gets tired of the same old things!!! Thanks Karena!!

Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2004
I made this for my picky boys and it was delicious! I just made some adjustments. I used cream of garlic roasted mushroom soup and also added one can of milk. I used an already store bought roasted chicken that had its own seasonings in it and used four pieces of cubed bread instead of three - on top of the cubed bread I drizzled melted butter and sprinkled garlic on top! Awesome!!!! very tasty!!!

Salsa Cheese Boule Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2004
This was the best dip I have ever made! I made it for a tiny "girls night" party and my girlfriends were dipping EVERYTHING in it! corn chips, potato chips, - you name it! It was delish!!!! The only thing I changed was to add 2 1/2 cups of cheese and I used a rye bread instead of Italian! I will make this dip over and over again!!!
