Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2006
When I came up with this recipe several years ago I combined what I liked about other recipes and made it easy as I am a lazy wannabe Itiliam. Had no idea it would turn out so good. Entered it on this website in 2001 and am thrilled that it turned out so versitile and everyone would love it as well as my family did. Whenever I need a lift I read your wonderful reviews. Thanks...Karen

Stuffed Shells I

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2006
Thanks for all the great reviews. When I posted this recipe in 2001 had no idea it would be so versitile. Love the idea of chopped spinach in the filling. Can't wait to try that myself. Like I said in my Italian Sausage Soup review, I am a lazy wannabe Italian and come up with the easiest way to make a good recipe. Glad you all enjoy this one too. Thanks again for the wonderful reviews. Karen M

BLT Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2006
Don't know how many times I have made this salad and after giving the recipe to my daughters who make it often, must admit, we are addicted to it. However, we call it 'heart attack salad' as it has so much cholesterol in it but too good to not have periodaclly.

Lettuce and Egg Salad

Reviewed: May 29, 2010
Served at family dinner last night and they all loved it. I would add more eggs the next time and it is true, the pepper is the key ingredient. Love love, love this salad.

Pineapple Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2010
My recipe is also very similar. More chopped onions (green) and no celery and use 2 cup plus 2 tsp drained juice with 8oz cr. cheese. Same amt. of bell pepper. Like the rolled in pecan and will try that along with some mince celery for crunch next time. Definately better next day +. Family sceptical about pineapple, peppers, and onions together but found it was addictive. Best on Sociables or Ritz crax. Can't wait to try new additions.

Peach Praline Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2010
These were absolutely delicious. I used ripe fresh white peaches instead of yellow as they are sweeter. Had to make 48 mini muffins for a church luncheon and doubled the recipe only to discover one large muffin makes at least 3 minis so had plenty left over to make some large ones. Yum-yum

Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2012
My husband & I are soup-a-holics and loved this recipe. I get tired of my recipe for Italian Sausage. This is as easy to prepare and also has the rich flavor of a long cooked soup. So far I have made it 3 times in past 5 weeks. Only thing I did a little different was use red potatoes and left the skin on both for looks and added viamins. Also added more chicken stock and less salt filled boullion.
