Lemon Chewy Crisps

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2012
These were sooo tasty! I did opt out of the almonds and used a lemon glaze which made these AMAZING! Also, I used Fleischmann's Margarine over butter so they were more like the Archway soft lemon cookie. Highly recommend this recipe

The Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2009
These really were amazing cookies. I used a full jar of Skippy Natural Chunky peanut butter (15 oz) and they turned out fantastic. I also followed another reviewer's suggestion of dipping the fork in sugar before pressing the cookies, which was a great idea. Great cookies!

Cavatini II

This recipe is perfect! The first time I made it, I left out the mushrooms and peppers as I'm not a big fan of them, but the second time I made this to a "T" and it was wonderful. My picky husband actually danced around the kitchen when I made this last night. I would recommend simmering the sauce lonnger if you have time.

Spiced Apples

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2005
This were a big hit our family Christmas gathering. I didn't change a thing when making them, and they were wonderful. These turned out better, however, after letting them sit for a couple of hours. The color was beautiful and the taste was great.

Grandma's Secret Pie Crust

There simply isn't a yummier pie crust recipe out there. I used this for the delicious Honey Pecan Pie (also outstanding recipe on this site) which made the show stopper of the Thanksgiving holiday. Thanks for sharing.

Cathy's Banana Bread

I simply LOVE this banana bread recipe. It always turns out moist, delicious, and difficult to keep my hands off of. I created muffins with this recipe for my kindergartner's snack day and the students gobbled them down. Just be sure to watch your cooking times with muffins.

Honey Crunch Pecan Pie

Absolutely fabulous pie. I do believe it was the shot of Jim Beam that we added to make this pie truly a Southern specialty. I used the Grandma's Pie Crust Recipe from this site, and was more than pleased with the results. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe.

No Bake Choco-Peanut-Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2003
I too used the evaporated milk and extra teaspoon of vanilla as another reviewer suggested. Wowie-Wow-Wow! These were great and very creamy. I should tell you that I used the old fashioned slow cooking oatmeal so they had a better appearance and tasted even better. Quick oats simply don't cut it. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Honey-Lime Marinated Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2002
YUM! This was an excellent marinade that could be used on any piece of chicken. My picky husband was raving about it, and he doesn't like too many new meals. The ingredients were a little on the expensive side, but now that I know it's going to be a regular meal, I'm glad I stocked up. Excellent Recipe - Thanks Tyson

This was great! Finally a different idea for chicken. I don't know about your families, but mine wants meat and potatoes every night of the week. This was the perfect transition to a different meal. Two thumbs up.

Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2001
OH MY GOODNESS! This recipe was the biggest hit of the Texas Peach round up this year. It was runny until entirely cooled and then was perfect. I LOVED the crust. Actually, I had to hand it out to so many people so I wouldn't eat the entire pan. Two Thumbs WAY up!
