Asian Fire Meat

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
We loved this recipe! I doubled the sauce and served over rice. Also, because some of the reviews stated that it wasn't very spicy, I added a little extra heat with a dash of Thai chile paste. So good and easy to make. A new regular in our house!!

Hot Buttered Rum Batter

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2008
Really, really good! It seemed a little weak using only 1 tablespoon of batter per serving, so I doubled it. Perfect for a cold night!

Asian Beef Skewers

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
Delicious! I marinated the meat for a little less than 24 hours and they were extremely flavorful and tender. Very simple to prepare and amazingly fast to grill. Definitely the best beef skewers I've ever made!

Hot Fudge Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2008
I just finished making this and it is delicious! I promised my daughter she could have a hot fudge sundae after dinner tonight, so I decided to try this recipe. Fantastic! It took all of 3 minutes to make. I'll never buy the premade hot fudge sauce again!!

Jalapeno Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2008
We did not care for this at all. The combination of cinnamon and cumin was not appealing and did not go well with the basting sauce. Also, my basting sauce never thickened, even after reducing it by 1/3.

Baked French Fries I

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2008
We loved these! They are as close to the real thing as I've ever made without frying. I lightly salted them when they came out of the oven. Mine were done a little sooner than the recipe stated, so I think it is best to check them often. I will make these again and again!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
Delicious! This was so fast and easy that I couldn't believe it! I've never made homemade soup in such a short time. The only change I made was to use soup base instead of boullion. I will make this again and again!

Cookie Balls

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2008
I was looking for a fun recipe that my daughter and I could make together and this was perfect! We had no trouble coating them at all. We used chocolate coating instead of white (personal preference) and just used a spoon to dip them and transfer to a wax paper covered cookie sheet. They were a big hit!

Penne with Spicy Vodka Tomato Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2008
We enjoyed this recipe, but it was a bit oily and I only used about half the specified amount of olive oil. I would make this again as the flavor is good, but I would only use a tablespoon of olive oil.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2008
Delicious!! The only change I made was to stir the parmesan into the sauce instead of sprinkling it over the top. It made the sauce a bit thicker that way. So fast and easy to make, I will make this again!

Shrimp Wrapped with Prosciutto

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2008
Incredibly delicious! The sauce is beyond words. I made the polenta earlier in the day to make assembling the dish quicker. The only problem I had was getting the hazelnuts to stick to the shrimp.

Oven Fries

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2008
This is such a quick and easy way to make fries. I was worried they would taste sweet, but they didn't. Mine never crisped up, but the flavor was really good. I had no problems with them sticking to the pan. I'll definitely make these again!

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2008
This is the best coleslaw I've ever had! Really delicious! I only used 1/3 cup sugar, and you could probably use even less, depending on how sweet you like it. I will never buy coleslaw from the deli again!
