About this Cook
I'm an outgoing, friendly person who loves to keep busy with either family or outdoor activities. I love to cook and try new things. I have a wonderful time in the kitchen.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook anything with chicken, whether it be soups or, I found a great marsala recipe that was to die for. I do not eat beef, therefore I do not cook it. I haven't eaten beef in 15 years or so.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Being from Indiana, my mother used to cook beans with cornbread. She would sooak the bean the night before and slow cook them for hours on the stove with a ham hock. It was so good.
My cooking triumphs
My husband loves my lemon chicken and my sour cream pork chops. My in laws loves my chicken cordon bleu. I make an awesome coconut shrimp and shirmp scampi, and crab cakes, manhattan clam chowder with clam cakes.
My cooking tragedies
I tried to cook the fish my husband caught from the ocean and it turned out awful.

Very Best Blueberry Cobbler!
Holy cow this recipe is very sweet!! Next time I make it I'm going to use a lot less sugar because with all of the sugar it takes away from the natural sweetness of the blueberries. I like the concept of this cobbler and I will make again, with less sugar, of course.

Easy Swedish Apple Pie
My four year old, who happens to be the pickiest eater on the planet, ate a whole piece of pie and actually asked for seconds!!! Now if my son approves of this recipe, then so do I.

Blueberry Pound Cake
I had picked fresh blueberries this weekend and was looking for another way to cook them other than muffins or in pancakes. I am very particular about the recipies that I choose but this one stuck out as being something different and easy to conjure up. I was amazed at how precise the directions were. No need to add any extras to this one and I think fresh blueberries are the best way to go, as it totally brings out the flavor. Thanks for sharing your recipe, the family enjoyed it.
