Ground Beef Vegetable Soup
So far it smells great (and tastes great as well)!! I added 32oz of beef stock and drained the beans and peas (if I feel it's too runny, I figure I can add Arrowroot powder to thicken). I also added about 1TBS of Oregano, Parsley, and Basil along with a lot of extra Thyme with liberal salt and pepper. I think the seasonings are a little light, plus I'm going through an Italian phase :) I also added about 4 garlic cloves to the beef while it was browning, omitted the corn, and used sweet potatoes instead of reg potatoes. We shall see! I'll report back!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup
This recipe turned out delicious! I would also have to say it's been the easiest slow cooker recipe I've made. I've only made 4 so far, but I honestly think it couldn't get easier than opening a few cans, a bottle of beer, and throwing in a few extra ingredients! I cooked mine on high for 3hrs, shredded the chx, and then continued cooking on high for about 45mins. I made the soup with Heineken (there was ZERO "beer" flavor so it was great). I also added 2 garlic cloves, 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, and some cilantro. I wish I added MORE cilantro because I couldn't really taste it at all. Next time :) Served with tortilla chips, cheddar, and sour cream. Definitely a hit with my boyfriend...which makes me feel great!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue
I made this recipe a couple days ago for my boyfriend and I and it's already gone. I usually cut recipes in half since it's just the two of us, but I should have made the full 6 serving recipe on this one. I took advice from previous reviews and added diced red onion (1/2), 2 cloves of garlic, and 1Tbs liquid smoke. I used Jack Daniels honey BBQ and Wishbone Italian dressing. Instead of serving it on a bun I served it on sweet potatoes and topped it with pickles and red onion. My bf also loves pickled jalepenos so he added those...but I'm not sure I'd recommend that concoction across the board. We loved it! Thanks for sharing :)
