Married for 5 years- recently gave birth to first son.Work as a nurse at local hospital- love to cook and have been cooking with my mom for as long as i can remember. I love to try new things-flavours from different parts of the world staying as far away from packaged dinners as i can. Pastas, Large dinners for friends and family and appetisers for parties. My friend and I have become quite competitive and have regular "app-offs" for our get togethers. So far I think we are tied. Our husbands keep the fuel going- they enjoy the judging. I just loved learning how to cook with mom. My first memory was cheese toast in the oven after Sesame Street. My other favorite tradition is "She who cooks- gets out of doing dishes" Catering my own wedding with a little help from my friends. Blackened Snapper- actually a recipe from this site- the fish turned out great. My beautiful Cuisinart Frying pan however- is a little worse for wear.
