Awesome roast! I coated the roast with emerils steak rub and added the following to the recipe at the beginning: fresh sliced mushrooms, baby carrots, 3/4 c red wine, 1/2 sliced onion, 3 tablespoons flour, and I used 2 cans of mushroom and roasted garlic soup instead of just plain mushroom. Cooked everything on low for 9 hours. I served it with premade diners choice country style mashed potatoes that you just heat in the microwave for a quick and easy meal. VERY GOOD! My family loved it.
