Daddy's 'If They'da had This at the Alamo we would'ha WON!' Texas Chili

This recipe created a very bland, overly 'beefy' chili. We (both Texans, by the way) followed the recipe exactly and didn't even save the leftovers.

Marshmallow Fondant

Fantastic! Never sticky for a second as I did the whole thing in my kitchen aid with the dough hook. I used crisco instead of butter, and I added in gel food coloring as needed to small batches and it was awesome to work with. Made yo gabba gabba cupcake toppers which were such a hit! I highly recommend keeping some crisco and cornstarch handy when rolling and cutting to keep from stickiness and an x-acto knife which made all the difference in making mini shapes!

Muffin Frittatas

Easy and delicious. Used zucchini and tomatoes with skim milk and 2% cheese...calculated it to be 75 calories per muffin which makes for an easy healthy breakfast to reheat a couple!

Delish...only the knorr leek mix will do. Use the whole 10 oz spinach. We left out the water chestnuts the 2nd time around as they added nothing in our mind.

Very convenient, this is definitely going to be our fall-back on Friday nights rather than calling Domino's! Needs some flavor...next time will try adding rosemary, oregano, basil, maybe even some sauteed minced garlic or parmesan to the dough.
