Slow Cooker Sweet-and-Sour Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2015
I have made this recipe several times. This is truly a big favorite of mine. I think it's a little too sweet for my husband but he eats it just fine. Because of that I don't make it regularly but it is one of the best roast recipes I have ever had.

Easy Sweet Coconut Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2015
Amazing. As others, I cut down on the sugar and I used a cube of margarine instead of the shortening but they were great. The only thing I didn't like was NOT being able to stay out of them.

Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts II

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2014
I have been making these for years, cutting the bacon in thirds as others also recommend. These are a favorite at our house. I don't transfer to a second dish to pour sauce on, just pour it over grease and all. Very yummy.

Pizza Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2014
Very good. The only thing I did differently was use strips of Salami instead of Pepperoni. I don't normally have pizza sauce around so I may do something a bit different next time but it was great. I will be making this or some version again.

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2014
I've had trouble trying new chicken recipes since making the Parmesan chicken breast. I decided to try this tonight and it is a new favorite. This was some of the best chicken I have ever had. Thanks for the recipe.

Slow Cooker Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2014
I have been making my ribs like this for a few years. They turn out great. The only minor changes I have made....instead of water, I put Root Beer in the crock pot and when in the oven I cook a little longer to get a good glazed barbeque sauce,

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2013
Just had this for dinner. They are awesome. I too first used flour with a bit of paprika and pepper. Used Italian bread crumbs with some Panko mixed in. I also turned the chops over once while in the oven, don't know that you need to. Next time I will add a bit more spice or herbs for flavor but I loved the crunch and the tenderness. Thanks a bunch.

Oven Pot Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2013
Made this yesterday with just a couple tweeks because of what I had on hand, but basic recipe. It is amazing. It was a nice day so I had the doors open, I was mowing the lawn and about 1/3 of an acre away and could smell it cooking. A keeper for sure. You should check it periodically because I did need to add liquid. I used beef broth to keep it from going dry. I added carrots and gold potatoes. I can't wait to make it again.

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: May 20, 2013
awesome! All I did differently was cut everything in half. Despite the "recipe Police" I enjoy seeing changes that people have made so if I don't have all the ingredients, I can see what works.

Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2013
I have been making this for years. My recipe doesn't use honey, I use a lot more cinnamon and mine doesn't mix the sugar, cinnamon and butter. You put the cinn., sugar mix on top and pour melted butter over it all. I have served this many many times and have never found anyone that didn't love it. It's a must at Christmas time. A true favorite, for sure.

I couldn't wait to try this. It was tasteless and way greasy and too salty.

Sesame Noodles

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2013
This was awesome. I had to make a few substitutes just because of items on hand, but basically the same recipe. Did follow other reviews and lessen the sugar and add a little corn starch. Glad I did. The only real change I made myself was to saute some small bits of broccoli, carrots, celery and zucchini. I added it when I combined the noodles and sauce. It was fantastic. Thank goodness we have leftovers and will have that cold tonight. Thanks for the great recipe!

Ham Casserole

This recipe was fantastic. The only change I made was leaving out the bell pepper and the salt. Other then that, I followed the recipe completely. It was a great dinner and great leftovers. Thanks
