Delish! My family loved this. I omitted the milk only because I missed that somehow. Everything else I followed to a "t".

Easy Sausage Gravy and Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2012
My whole family loved this! Great basic milk gravy and is wonderful as is :) I did add a little milk at the end because it thickened a little overmuch waiting for dinner to finish...but was great!

Very good, basic tater tot casserole :) We used ground turkey and added cheese when it had about 5 mins left.

Best Ever Meatloaf II

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2012
We had this tonight. And I normally do make a few changes only because I modify with what I have on hand or try to cut down on calories. I know people don't like that...but oh well :) So yummy! Didn't have crackers, so I used bread crumbs (3 tbsp). Only used 1/2 amount of the cheese (and I used 1/2 of it IN the loaf and 1/2 on top later). I DID add an egg since I have never had a meatloaf w/out egg. I added just a hint of worchestershire sauce, too. Turned out really well :) It was like a taco w/out a shell!! Hubby and the kids loved it!!

Creamy Hot Cocoa

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2011
I usually make recipes as they are written to begin with, but we only had certain things on hnand! I did reduce the sugar down to 1/2 cup and I am SO glad that I did! It was almost too sweet at 1/2 cup. I didn't have half and half, so I just used more skim milk. Delish! Just wish I had marshmallows :)

Spicy Sweet Potato Chips

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2011
I followed this to the "t" and my chips came out super soggy. They had a good taste, but we had to eat them w/ a fork!

Eggplant, Roasted Pepper and Chicken Pitas

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
If I could give it more stars, I would. This was DIVINE!! I followed the recipe as said w/ the exception of roasting my own red bell peppers. I didn't have pita bread, so we used spinach wraps...and my daughter suggested a bit of feta which...oy, was a great addition!! I think next time I will oven bake my chicken, though, just to get rid of some of the fat. Very good and different!! Thanks!

Peach Cobbler Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2011
Excellent as written. I loathe when people take a recipe and alter it so severely. Really...you aren't rating the recipe, you are rating a creation you came up with. No, Jessica isn't the first one to come up with this recipe...but I do like the one she listed. Thanks so much for sharing, hon, and keep them coming!

This was pretty good! Followed almost exactly ~ just used brown rice instead of white and cooked it in my slow cooker. My children gobbled it up.

Best Beef Dip Ever

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2011
ABSOLUTELY the best I have had :) I hate changing anything about recipes when I make something for the first time, but I only had a little over a 1/2 cup of soy sauce. I added a can of beef broth to it. Cooked it from noon today until about 1030 pm...my husband and I tried it on french hamburger rolls. SO good!

Mushroom Beef Patties

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2011
This was GREAT! My kids and husband went back for seconds :) I halved the recipe ~ 2 pounds of meat was just too much for my family of 5. I also used bread crumbs because it is what I had on hand. Used lean ground beef (ground turkey would work well, too, I think), non fat milk, light cream of mushroom and egg beaters instead of eggs just to cut back on the fat :)

Texas Hash

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2011
I made as written with the exception of using processed cheese. We used real shredded 4 cheese Mexican. Can't stand the processed stuff. I found it very, very bland. My kids and husband thought it was ok...but they weren't overly impressed.

Noodles

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2011
I didn't have canned chicken because we don't eat it, so I used chicken that I had cooked. I only had one can of cream of mushroom and used a can of cream of chicken with it...and we added a can of drained peas, sliced fresh mushrooms and about a quarter of a cup of finely chopped onion. I normally don't change up recipes like I did here ~ I like to make as written...but it just sounded good :) My family of 5 tore it up. There was NONE left. My 5 year old is like me and doesn't like pasta (we like egg noodles ok) and he asked for seconds. My daughter is not a big meat eater but really enjoyed this and went back for seconds. Was really good!

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2011
5 stars all the way! I used ground turkey instead of beef. Didn't have onion or garlic powders, so I used the real stuff :) My husband didn't expect to like it (his words!) from the recipe pic, but went back for seconds and said he would like this on a regular basis! My kids tore it up :)
