My cooking tragedies
Ribs...the only way I have found to be able to cook ribs is to put them into the microwave for about 5 minutes then put them in a pot and cover them with bbq sauce and let them simmer for about 4 hours. I really don't like bbq sauce that much, but my husband loves them that way. I've tried ribs a few different ways and they either come out too tough or not done and tough. I will now let restaurants do ribs for me from now on.

Prize Winning Baby Back Ribs
I have tried ribs so many times without any success, so when I found this recipe with all the great reviews I thought I would try it one more time. I followed the recipe exactly, but the ribs were not even close to being done. I had to finish them off under the broiler, but then when we tasted them the dry rub was so awful we couldn't even eat them. This was the last time that I will ever attempt to cook/grill/prepare ribs. The only thing that worked in this was how to get the membrane off and that wasn't even in the original recipe!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
This recipe is really good. I did have to make a few changes to it to account for the high altitude. I added 1/4 flour, only put in about 1 1/2 teaspoon of soda, 3 tablespoons of water, and added about 1 1/2 teaspoon of salt. these didn't spread very much so they were thick and very soft. I would recommend this recipe to anyone.
