About this Cook
I've been married for 20 years. We have a wonderful daughter who has become a bit of a picky eater in her teen years. I like to cook, read, and make many crafts.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Mom's fried chicken and fried potatoes with gravy. Dad's fudge on Christmas day. Grandma's Deviled Eggs & Watergate salad on holidays. MIL's cookies, sauce, & eggnog. yum,I love it all.
My cooking triumphs
I think it was just learning how to cook. I made very simple things before I got married. Had to really learn after I was married.
My cooking tragedies
Well lets see, just about everything I tried to cook the first few times I tried to make a meal. But the steaks have to top it. I cooked them much to long and they were dried out like a well done boot!

Alfredo Mostaccioli
We all loved this Alfredo. We did add grilled chicken to the plate. Next time I will double the sauce.

Angel Chicken Pasta
The first time I made this recipe was 2 years ago. Everytime I make it everyone loves it. I never use wine in recipes, I replace it with broth. I also add mushrooms, red onion, and red peppers. We like the veggies.

Mexican Pinto Beans
This is a pretty good soup recipe. It's very similar to the way my mom makes them. But faster with the "quick soak" method.
