The Best Meatballs
Thank you for the recipe! I made this last night and my husband's response was "These are the best meatballs I have ever eaten". I did use chopped fresh spinach as I didn't have the Italian flat leaf parsley and I baked them on a cake rack in the oven over a foil-lined cookie sheet. A tip if ground veal is hard to find, your grocery store may have "meatloaf mix", which is a beef, veal and pork mixture.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
Just wanted to thank you for sharing the recipe - been using it as my only apple pie recipe for ... not sure how long, but every time I make it - I'm floored at the amazing response. Only thing I do different from your recipe is that I add the "sugar and butter liquid” to the apples before adding the top crust – or lattice. I then coat the crust (lattice is what I’ve always used) with and egg and water mixture and then sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over that...and wa la –perfect pie. Thank you so much for your recipe. I made two pies this last weekend - one for my husband to take to work and one that I took to work.. yeah they lasted may a few minutes... :> Your Grandma Ople is surely proud of this recipe! Thank you!
