Blue Cheese Beef Tenderloin

This recipe was perfect for our Christmas dinner. The smallest (least expensive) tenderloin I could find at my grocery was 7 lbs. I asked the butcher to cut it in two pieces. I serve the 4 lb. portion to my family (there were 9 of us) and it was the perfect amount. I followed the recipe exactly and it was perfect. I love blue cheese and loved the sauce. However, I will say that a little goes a long way. Just tell your family to try a little of the sauce and not drown it should be great! Everyone loved this tenderloin and several asked for the recipe. It was easy and delicious and I'll make it again and again!
