These are pancake perfection! I have been looking for a recipe for made-from-scratch pancakes, and now my Bisquick days are over. I took the advice of the reviewer who said to reduce the salt in the recipe, so I used 1/2 a teaspoon of salt instead of a whole teaspoon. I was able to make 8 medium-width, thick pancakes from this. They had a buttery flavor, and a soft and fluffy texture. They didn't absorb too much syrup, either. I was also able to eat one plain, without butter on top, since there is such a butter-y taste within the pancakes.
This was our Christmas morning breakfast today, and it was perfect! Cinnken, thanks for sharing.
