Fantastic recipe!!!!! The secret to it not burning is to heat the oil on med and pop 3 kernels of corn, take out the 3 pieces of pop-corn so they do not burn. Add the popcorn and the sugar and stir well. (I used Bakers ultra fine sugar, it melts easy and coats the corn.) Now holding the lid on the pan swirl the pan in a small circle over the burner until the corn stops popping. Delicious, perfect kettle corn. We put a dash of salt on the finished kettle corn. Yummy!!!!!!!!
