Made this tonight for the very first time. I followed the tips from another review and brushed on Kitchen Bouquet, sprinkled some fresh ground sea salt and pepper, garlic powder, and I added a little onion powder. However, cooking it as directed per the recipe was far to pink for me, so I cooked for an additional 30 minutes on 450 F after it sat in the oven for the 2½ hours. It came out perfect. I served it with baked beans, green beans, and the roasted new potatoes (I added carrots too). The new potatoes recipe was on this site too. My husband said this was his favorite meal all year, and probably his new favorite. It was super easy to make, I'm not much of a cook and I think it turned out great!
