I made this as a Birthday meal for my roommate and took into consideration many of the adjustments previous cooks have done. I used fresh basil, added a pinch of nutmeg to the ricotta cheese, I used buffalo meat instead of ground beef, only used a little sugar, and used spinach noodles to make it healthier. I also did not cook the noodles when I started to assemble the lasagna - they were cooked perfectly with the time in the oven. THIS MOST DEFINITELY IS, THE WORLD'S BEST LASAGNA! I will make this again and again. Thanks for such a wonderful recipe - worth the effort for sure.
