My favorite things to cook
I love cooking Thai food and chocolate chip cookies in lieu of paying with money. I also love making home cooked comfort food for my hubby.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Can't go wrong with my grandma's biscuit recipe that I also use for cinnamon buns and my dad's fajitas - healthier than anything else I cook!
My cooking triumphs
Chocolate chip cookies (real vanilla is the key) and my slow-cooker chicken stew. I'm pretty savvy at concocting new marinades.
My cooking tragedies
Cheesecake... I was talking instead of concentrating and to this day my boyfriend never lets me forget (because it's the only thing I screwed up!)

Best Steak Marinade in Existence
Such a GREAT marinade! Just tried this recipe and it was an instant favourite. Such a great flavour that doesn't overpower the steak - just the perfect blend of different herbs and tastes. I will definitely make this again!

Whole Wheat and Honey Pizza Dough
This recipe is perfect for someone who is looking for a healthy alternative to a white dough for pizza. I was nervous at first because I didn't think it was rising enough but after I put the dough in the oven (about 5 mins before adding the sauce and toppings) it was rising quite a bit. I poked wholes into the dough and I also cooked the pizza at about 460. I will definitely make this recipe again and again! Super easy and quick! Delish!

World's Best Lasagna
I made this as a Birthday meal for my roommate and took into consideration many of the adjustments previous cooks have done. I used fresh basil, added a pinch of nutmeg to the ricotta cheese, I used buffalo meat instead of ground beef, only used a little sugar, and used spinach noodles to make it healthier. I also did not cook the noodles when I started to assemble the lasagna - they were cooked perfectly with the time in the oven. THIS MOST DEFINITELY IS, THE WORLD'S BEST LASAGNA! I will make this again and again. Thanks for such a wonderful recipe - worth the effort for sure.
