Homemade Flour Tortillas
I don't keep lard in the house, and the only other semi-solid fat I had in the pantry was raw coconut oil. So I used that. They were delicious!
Tasting homemade tortillas will make you sorry you ever wasted time and money on store-bought. At least, that's how I felt. Store-bought tortillas are tasteless, with a gluey consistency: these are light, tender, and flaky, with a heavenly flavor. Once you master the trick of rolling them thin enough (doesn't take long), you will be turning these out for burritos and quesadillas like nobody's business.
