Super Easy Hummus

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2014
my go to hummus recipe. I simply love hummus. I cannot find tahini anywhere in my area, no surprise, so I searched a substitute and went with tablespoon full of peanut butter. I love it with a peanut butter

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2014
WOW! My family loved these! Only couple small changes, made homemade black beans instead of kidney beans. Made homemade tortillas (why have I never done THAT before! with a recipe here from site). Did not put them in the oven...just filled already warm tortillas as they came off the grill. Added avacodo and salsa. Thanks for sharing. I would have never tried this without all the great reviews! Just sorry I didn't take a photo!

Old Fashioned Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2013
I too used premade pie crust. Rolled out dough and cut into 4 pieces. I used frozen apple sliced I put up this fall, and added a fresh pear to it (was needing to use it up). Let the apples thaw and drained off juice, added the rest of ingredients and filled. As for the sauce, made as direct, only used about 1/2 to 3/4 of it. will cut in 1/2 next time...but it sure was good. The pan was licked clean before our heads hit the pillow. Will make again, and again. Oh, don't forget a scoop of vanilla icecream on top! Would have added a photo, but forget until the pan was empty!

Prosciutto-Wrapped Cherry-Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2013
Made these for Valentines supper for my 10 yer old sweetheart and my husband. I so enjoyed the making of these, following Chef Johns video step by step, TRYING to accomplished what he did ever so carefully. They were quite easy to make in the end. My husband like them, but I think the thyme was a little to much for my son's liking (and he eats most everything) so was a little sad it wasn't his favorite chunk of chicken,as he put it for a lack of better words. As for me I LOVED every bite Only made one little change, used dried cranberries instead of cherries. I never knew my hands could make chicken look so pretty to eat!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Bars

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! These are so yummy. Made as recipe as it said except I had to omit the sunflower seeds and coconut, only because I didn't have any on hand. Can hardly wait to make them again with them. These are fabulously delicious and addicting! Thank you for sharing this recipe, have been looking for a soft granola type bar forever. Take care in your baking time, as always. Mine were done in about 18 minutes

World's Best Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2013
Followed recipe TO THE LETTER this morning. I was a little leery to make it (am known for my fails in the candy department). IT TURNED OUT PERFECTLY. Initially thought the batter was not thick enough when poured into the cake pan, but come to find that it set up perfectly(well as perfect as I can be) fudge. Had made sure to time my boiling from when it started to be a rolling boil on med heat. Thank you for sharing this easy peasy recipe. My thighs, on the other hand, have a totally different review!

I liked this a lot. Was easy, inexpensive and the family ate every last bite. I used French bread buns as that is what I had on hand. reminded me of a chili bowl kinda thing...but since I love those too, this hit the spot on a cool October evening. thank you for sharing....will be making this again.

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2013
Finally found and made apple crisp like my nanna use to make....made as directed with a small change of no flour in the apples, replaced with raw tapioca, that is what nanna used....I noticed on review commented on how there were nearly 300 reviews...I giggled as I looked at the "now" reviews...over 3000!!!!! And I know the reason why.

Eggplant -- Easy, Good and Tasty

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2013
These where amazing!!! my son got to pick some things to add to our garden this year, and eggplant was one of them. We made these with only one small change and that was to add mozzarella cheese to the top. We both agreed they were like healthy pizzas. We will be making these again and again. This recipe made it into my all time favorite folder! (Not and easy thing to do) Thanks for sharing this recipe.
