Lemon Posset

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
Five for ease and five for taste. I don't eat desserts because I'm always on a diet. I had my family taste these for me and they felt the dessert was too sweet, which can be easily adjusted. I did taste it and agree about too sweet. I am giving a luncheon and can't be cooking when my quests arrive so I will make these in advance. I will serve smaller portions with fresh fruit. Tossing around doing a layered dessert. This being one layer. But because of the ease this is my dessert choice.

Grilled Mojo Chicken Salad With Asparagus and Oranges

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2012
you can add what you like( nuts, cheese, etc) but don't change a thing on the basic recipe! I used fresh orange juice because that is what I had on hand..tasted a little weak so I added zest.. also didn't have mint so I added a extract wow! My mouth feel like I had mint candy..all grilled on indoor grill.....next time I will use fresh mint..although the extract was delish! Gonna make this for my girlfriends.......thanks Lisa

Restaurant Style Onion Rings

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2011
just made onions rings from this recipe. I've been on a quest to make onion rings like I enjoy in a restaurant. This recipe is the best so far. I may just quit here. I tried a couple things with this recipe. One: draining the onion ring dipped in pancake batter before deep frying them. That didn't work. They are better dip in batter then cooked right away. I tried adding panko to pancake batter. I like them that way- my husband didn't. :)

Creme Brulee

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2011
recipe is easy, simple! and yummy. I had a cooking class in making desserts so I knew how to temper the egg yolks with a few drops of warm cream and put water around the ramkins when cooking. The Creme Brulee turned out better than the brulee we made in class which called for whole eggs..just too eggy that way! I didn't worry about straining the mixture for smoothness..its just me eating them( hubby hates brulee- go figure!) but they were not lumpy!! Or maybe I gobbled them down too fast...no desserts stays too long in my kitchen!! Used blow torch on sugar....just for fun!

Blazing Shrimp

Reviewed: May 15, 2011
This is my recipe but to be honest a pound of shrimp for two people is a lot of shrimp but my husband loves shrimp. The pound of shrimp could easily feed four if the pasta amount is increased to 8 ounces and of course more veggie. Love cooking the shrimp this way and using the fish stock that cooks off the shrimp as sauce for the pasta. Of course, this recipe can be changed and added to in many ways for example using jarred peppers.

it’s over !! you and me, us, I’m just plain tired of you- even though you got dicey and spicy at lunch with soup recipe. Yes, of course you were tasty and handsome, maybe just a little stuffy. Hey! don’t blame it on me being in a foul mood or not. To tell you the truth, Tom T, you were leftovers the day after your timer popped. No hard feelings, You are and always will be VIP. (Very Important Provision)...sorry having fun enjoy the soup!

I liked these very much. I had to come up with something different from Bisquick dumpling since we were out of Bisquick. I liked them better..my husband still likes Bisquick dumplings. I'm sure it's because they are salty.

very easy- a little too sweet for my taste buds. Our blueberries are naturally sweet and I should have added less sugar to the flour mix.
