Marinade for Chicken
Outstanding! My family is super picky and everyone loved the chicken. I also used the on portabella mushrooms and BBQ'd them. I thought they were too salty but my husband ate nearly a pound of them. He doesn't like mushrooms. Highly recommend this recipe.

The Best Bean and Ham Soup
Wow! Not only did I love this soup when I made it, I froze the leftovers and they were absolutely incredible a few weeks later. Only things I changed were smaller cutting of veggies (my family doesn't like to "taste" the vegetables) and I didn't have veg juice, so I just used more veg broth. But it was great. The "special ingredients", like the mustard, lemon and veg broth, really give it great flavor. I just opened a can of $$ organic lentil soup and it was so disappointing in comparison to this lentil soup. So I'm going to get a ham hock right now to make it!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup
I've been making a recipe very similar to this, but this one is better. The secret ingredient here is your favorite enchillada sauce! WOW! This is the first time my kids have eaten this soup with enthusiasm. I use Las Palmas green chili sauce as it's sweeter without the acid of red sauce. I sauteed my garlic and onions (plus bell peppers) first. Just add bagged tortilla chips. And I use red beans, but any bean is a great addition for extra nutrition and flavor. Great recipe - thank you!!!
