Spinach and Rice (Spanakorizo)

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2004
This is a staple at our house. A little bit of lemon squeezed on top with some crumbled feta is a must!! This is easy to make and good warmed up later. Kathy W. must be Greek, I like a lot of her recipes.

Creamy Coleslaw

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2004
I read that some people thought the onion was too strong so I tried a sweet vidalia type onion instead and we loved it. The raisins are great in this. I am so glad that I found this recipe. It gives us a nice alternative to the standard coleslaw recipes!

Dorothy's Stefado

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2004
I made this recently and can't believe how good this was. I always stayed away from this recipe even though it was one of my favorite greek meals. I thought it would be too much work, but boy was it worth it. Kathy is right, the smell of this simmering is so inviting! My family enjoyed this a lot and all you have to do is add a salad and some mashed potatoes! No more ordering this out at Greek restaurants. Now I can have even better at home!! Thanks!

Baked Pineapple with Tapioca

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2004
I made this with a ham last week. What a great addition. Sweet and creamy! I was too crunched for time to make a jello mold so I looked for something that would take less time and found a keeper recipe!! This would be perfect with pork chops too!

Super Bowl Bites

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2004
I am not sure why these are called Super Bowl Bites, but my family likes them no matter what they are called. I made the whole recipe a few weeks ago, and froze half for a later date. What a nice surprise when I made the frozen ones last night. This recipe reads like it should just be a simple recipe, certainly not something an 'experienced' cook would think should be gourmet. I would make these again easliy and know that my family will enjoy them. Thanks Kathy W.!

Lamb Stew with Green Beans

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2004
This was delicious!!!!!!! My aunt used to make this when I was younger. I forgot all about it and am so glad that I found it again. The sauce doen't need to be thick so I didn't add anything to this recipe. I do agree that this is just as good if not better the next day. I can't wait to make this with fresh green beans from the garden!

BLT Dip

My family always needs to double this recipe. It's simple and tasty. We don't feel like we need to add anything to it, and love it best with Ritz Sticks. Thx for the recipe!!
